لَّوْلَاكِتَٰبٌمِّنَٱللَّهِسَبَقَلَمَسَّكُمْفِيمَآأَخَذْتُمْعَذَابٌعَظِيمٌ ٦٨

Saheeh International

If not for a decree from Allah that preceded, you would have been touched for what you took by a great punishment.

Tafseer 'Qasim Hamidan Da's' (AR)

(لَوْ لا) حرف امتناع لوجود. (كِتابٌ) مبتدأ. (مِنَ اللَّهِ) متعلقان بالفعل سبق. (سَبَقَ) فعل ماض، والجملة في محل رفع صفة كتاب، والخبر محذوف تقديره موجود، والجملة استئنافية لا محل لها، (لَمَسَّكُمْ) فعل ماض والكاف مفعول به، واللام واقعة في جواب الشرط، والجملة لا محل لها جواب شرط غير جازم. (فِيما) ما اسم موصول مبني على السكون في محل جر بحرف الجر، والجار والمجرور متعلقان بالفعل مسكم. (أَخَذْتُمْ) فعل ماض والتاء فاعل والميم لجمع الذكور والجملة صلة الموصول. (عَذابٌ) فاعل. (عَظِيمٌ) صفة.
