40:48
قَالَٱلَّذِينَٱسْتَكْبَرُوٓا۟إِنَّاكُلٌّفِيهَآإِنَّٱللَّهَقَدْحَكَمَبَيْنَٱلْعِبَادِ ٤٨

Saheeh International

Those who had been arrogant will say, "Indeed, all [of us] are in it. Indeed, Allah has judged between the servants."

Tafseer 'Tafsir Ibn Kathir' (IN)

Firman Allah Swt.:

sesungguhnya Allah telah menetapkan keputusan antara hamba-hamba-Nya. (Al-Mu’min: 48)

Yakni Dia telah membagi di antara kita azab sesuai dengan apa yang berhak diterima oleh kita masing-masing. Hal ini seperti yang disebutkan dalam ayat lain melalui firman-Nya:

Allah berfirman, "Masing-masing mendapat (siksaan) yang berlipat ganda, tetapi kamu tidak mengetahui.” (Al-A'raf: 38)
