16:64
وَمَآأَنزَلْنَاعَلَيْكَٱلْكِتَٰبَإِلَّالِتُبَيِّنَلَهُمُٱلَّذِىٱخْتَلَفُوا۟فِيهِوَهُدًىوَرَحْمَةًلِّقَوْمٍيُؤْمِنُونَ ٦٤

Saheeh International

And We have not revealed to you the Book, [O Muhammad], except for you to make clear to them that wherein they have differed and as guidance and mercy for a people who believe.

Tafseer 'Qurtubi Tafseer' (AR)

قوله تعالى : وما أنزلنا عليك الكتاب إلا لتبين لهم الذي اختلفوا فيه وهدى ورحمة لقوم يؤمنون [ ص: 110 ] قوله تعالى : وما أنزلنا عليك الكتاب أي القرآنإلا لتبين لهم الذي اختلفوا فيه من الدين والأحكام فتقوم الحجة عليهم ببيانك . وعطف هدى ورحمة على موضع قوله : لتبين لأن محله نصب . ومجاز الكلام : وما أنزلنا عليك الكتاب إلا تبيانا للناس .وهدى ورحمة لقوم يؤمنون أي رشدا ورحمة للمؤمنين .
