وَلَوْجَآءَتْهُمْكُلُّءَايَةٍحَتَّىٰيَرَوُا۟ٱلْعَذَابَٱلْأَلِيمَ ٩٧
Saheeh International
Even if every sign should come to them, until they see the painful punishment.

Tafseer 'Tafsir Kemenag RI' (IN)
(97) Orang-orang yang terkunci hatinya itu tidak akan beriman, walaupun kepada mereka dikemukakan berbagai macam bukti dan tanda-tanda kekuasaan dan keesaaan Allah. Mereka baru akan beriman setelah dimasukkan ke dalam neraka, disaat merasakan azab yang pedih. Tetapi iman mereka itu tidak diterima lagi, karena pintu tobat disaat itu telah tertutup.
