Saheeh International
Indeed, those upon whom the word of your Lord has come into effect will not believe,

Tafseer 'Tafsir Kemenag RI' (IN)
(96) Ayat ini menerangkan bahwa bagi orang-orang yang mendustakan ayat-ayat Allah berlaku ketetapan-ketetapan Allah, yaitu mengazab mereka dengan azab yang pedih di akhirat nanti. Iman mereka tidak dapat diharapkan lagi, karena hati mereka telah tertutup dan terkunci mati, tidak bisa menerima petunjuk Ilahi, sehingga mereka tetap dalam kekafiran dan perbuatan dosa.
