فَلْيَضْحَكُوا۟قَلِيلًاوَلْيَبْكُوا۟كَثِيرًاجَزَآءًۢبِمَاكَانُوا۟يَكْسِبُونَ ٨٢

Saheeh International

So let them laugh a little and [then] weep much as recompense for what they used to earn.

Tafseer 'Tafsir Ahsanul Bayaan' (BN)

[১] قَلِيلًا আর كَثِيرًا শব্দ দু'টি হতে পারে মাসদারের সিফাত (ক্রিয়ামূলের বিশেষণ), অর্থাৎ, ضَحِكًا قَلِيلًا এবং بُكَاءً كَثِيرًا অথবা যারফ (ক্রিয়া-বিশেষণ), (অর্থাৎ, زَمَانًا قَلِيلًا وَزَمَانًا كَثِيرًا অনুযায়ী দুই যবর রয়েছে। আর উভয় শব্দ দু'টিই হল আদেশসূচক, যা খবরের অর্থে ব্যবহার হয়েছে। তার মানে হল, এরা ইহকালে হাসবে কম এবং পরকালে কাঁদবে বেশী।
