9:109
أَفَمَنْأَسَّسَبُنْيَٰنَهُۥعَلَىٰتَقْوَىٰمِنَٱللَّهِوَرِضْوَٰنٍخَيْرٌأَممَّنْأَسَّسَبُنْيَٰنَهُۥعَلَىٰشَفَاجُرُفٍهَارٍفَٱنْهَارَبِهِۦفِىنَارِجَهَنَّمَوَٱللَّهُلَايَهْدِىٱلْقَوْمَٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ١٠٩

Saheeh International

Then is one who laid the foundation of his building on righteousness [with fear] from Allah and [seeking] His approval better or one who laid the foundation of his building on the edge of a bank about to collapse, so it collapsed with him into the fire of Hell? And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.

Tafseer 'Qasim Hamidan Da's' (AR)

(أَفَمَنْ) الهمزة للاستفهام والفاء استئنافية ومن اسم موصول مبتدأ والجملة مستأنفة (أَسَّسَ بُنْيانَهُ) ماض ومفعوله والهاء في محل جر بالإضافة والفاعل مستتر والجملة صلة (عَلى تَقْوى) متعلقان بأسس (مِنَ اللَّهِ) متعلقان بمحذوف صفة تقوى (وَرِضْوانٍ) معطوف على تقوى (خَيْرٌ) خبر من (أَمْ) حرف عطف (مِنَ) معطوفة على من السابقة فهي مبتدأ (أَسَّسَ بُنْيانَهُ) الجملة صلة (عَلى شَفا) متعلقان بأسس (جُرُفٍ) مضاف إليه (هارٍ) صفة جرف (فَانْهارَ) الفاء عاطفة وماض فاعله مستتر (بِهِ) متعلقان بانهار (فِي نارِ) متعلقان بالفعل (جَهَنَّمَ) مضاف إليه مجرور بالفتحة لأنه ممنوع من الصرف والجملة معطوفة (وَاللَّهُ) الواو استئنافية ولفظ الجلالة مبتدأ (لا) نافية (يَهْدِي) مضارع مرفوع بالضمة المقدرة على الياء للثقل والفاعل مستتر والجملة خبر (الْقَوْمَ) مفعول به (الظَّالِمِينَ) صفة القوم منصوبة بالياء لأنها جمع مذكر سالم.
