قُللِّلَّذِينَكَفَرُوٓا۟إِنيَنتَهُوا۟يُغْفَرْلَهُممَّاقَدْسَلَفَوَإِنيَعُودُوا۟فَقَدْمَضَتْسُنَّتُٱلْأَوَّلِينَ ٣٨

Saheeh International

Say to those who have disbelieved [that] if they cease, what has previously occurred will be forgiven for them. But if they return [to hostility] - then the precedent of the former [rebellious] peoples has already taken place.

পঞ্চম রুকূ’

[১] আব্দুল্লাহ ইবনে মাসউদ রাদিয়াল্লাহু আনহু বলেনঃ এক লোক রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু 'আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লামকে প্রশ্ন করলঃ হে আল্লাহর রাসূল! আমরা জাহেলিয়াতে (অর্থাৎ কাফের অবস্থায়) যা করেছি, তার জন্য কি জবাবদিহি করতে হবে? তিনি বললেনঃ "যদি কেউ ইসলামে সুন্দরভাবে আমল করে তবে জাহেলিয়াতের কর্মকাণ্ডের জবাবদিহি করতে হবে না। আর যদি খারাপ আমল করে তবে পূর্বাপর সবকিছুর জন্যই ধরা হবে। [বুখারীঃ ৬৯২১]
