ذَٰلِكُمْفَذُوقُوهُوَأَنَّلِلْكَٰفِرِينَعَذَابَٱلنَّارِ ١٤

Saheeh International

"That [is yours], so taste it." And indeed for the disbelievers is the punishment of the Fire.

ar: Baghawy Tafseer

Tafseer 'Baghawy Tafseer' (AR)

( ذلكم ) أي : هذا العذاب والضرب الذي عجلته لكم أيها الكفار ببدر ، ( فذوقوه ) عاجلا ( وأن للكافرين ) أي : واعلموا وأيقنوا أن للكافرين أجلا في المعاد ، ( عذاب النار )روى عكرمة عن ابن عباس قال : قيل لرسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - حين فرغ من بدر : عليك بالعير ليس دونها شيء ، فناداه العباس وهو أسير في وثاقه : لا يصلح ، فقال رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - : لمه؟ قال : لأن الله تعالى وعدك إحدى الطائفتين وقد أعطاك ما وعدك .
