وَٱلْءَاخِرَةُخَيْرٌوَأَبْقَىٰٓ ١٧

Saheeh International

While the Hereafter is better and more enduring.

Tafseer 'Qurtubi Tafseer' (AR)

قوله تعالى : والآخرة خير وأبقى أي والدار الآخرة أي الجنة . خير أي أفضل . وأبقى أي أدوم من الدنيا . وقال النبي - صلى الله عليه وسلم - : " ما الدنيا في الآخرة إلا كما يضع أحدكم أصبعه في اليم ، فلينظر بم يرجع " صحيح . وقد تقدم . وقال مالك بن دينار : لو كانت الدنيا من ذهب يفنى ، والآخرة من خزف يبقى ، لكان الواجب أن يؤثر خزف يبقى ، على ذهب يفنى . قال : فكيف والآخرة من ذهب يبقى ، والدنيا من خزف يفنى .
