84:18
وَٱلْقَمَرِإِذَاٱتَّسَقَ ١٨

Saheeh International

And [by] the moon when it becomes full

in: Tafsir Ibn Kathir

Tafseer 'Tafsir Ibn Kathir' (IN)

Firman Allah Swt:

{وَالْقَمَرِ إِذَا اتَّسَقَ}

dan dengan bulan apabila jadi purnama. (Al-Insyiqaq: 18)

apabila kelihatan bundar, menurut Ibnu Abbas. Hal yang sama dikatakan oleh Ikrimah, Mujahid, Sa'id ibnu Jubair, Masruq, Abu Saleh, Ad-Dahhak, dan Ibnu Zaid.

{وَالْقَمَرِ إِذَا اتَّسَقَ}

dan dengan bulan apabila jadi purnama. (Al-Insyiqaq: 18)

Maksudnya, apabila sempurna bulatnya. Al-Hasan mengatakan, apabila bulat penuh. Qatadah mengatakan, apabila bundar. Makna pendapat mereka menyimpulkan apabila bulan itu sempurna cahayanya, yaitu malam purnama, yang hal ini dijadikan sebagai lawan kata dari malam yang apabila gelap gulita.
