وَمَاعَلَيْكَأَلَّايَزَّكَّىٰ ٧

Saheeh International

And not upon you [is any blame] if he will not be purified.

Tafseer 'Tanweer Tafseer' (AR)

وَمَا عَلَيْكَ أَلَّا يَزَّكَّى (7)جملة معترضة بين جملة { أما من استغنى } [ عبس : 5 ] وجملة : { وأما من جاءك يسعى } [ عبس : 8 ] ، والواو اعتراضية .و { ما } نافية و { عليك } خبر مقدم . والمبتدأ { ألا يزكى } ، والمعنى : عدم تزكّيه ليس محمولاً عليك ، أي لست مؤاخذاً بعدم اهتدائه حتى تزيد من الحرص على ترغيبه في الإِيمان ما لم يكلفك الله به . وهذا رفق من الله برسوله صلى الله عليه وسلم
