قَالَٱلْمَلَأُمِنقَوْمِهِۦٓإِنَّالَنَرَىٰكَفِىضَلَٰلٍمُّبِينٍ ٦٠

Saheeh International

Said the eminent among his people, "Indeed, we see you in clear error."

Tafseer 'Ibn Kathir' (AR)

"قال الملأ من قومه" أي الجمهور والسادة والقادة والكبراء منهم "إنا لنراك في ضلال مبين" أي في دعوتك إيانا إلى ترك عبادة هذه الأصنام التي وجدنا آباءنا عليها. وهكذا حال الفجار إنما يرون الأبرار في ضلالة كقوله "وإذا رأوهم قالوا إن هؤلاء لضالون" "وقال الذين كفروا للذين آمنوا لو كان خيرا ما سبقونا إليه وإذ لم يهتدوا به فسيقولون هذا إفك قديم" إلى غير ذلك من الآيات.
