فَمَاكَانَدَعْوَىٰهُمْإِذْجَآءَهُمبَأْسُنَآإِلَّآأَنقَالُوٓا۟إِنَّاكُنَّاظَٰلِمِينَ ٥

Saheeh International

And their declaration when Our punishment came to them was only that they said, "Indeed, we were wrongdoers!"

Tafseer 'Qasim Hamidan Da's' (AR)

(فَما) ما نافية والفاء للاستئناف. (كانَ) ماض ناقص (دَعْواهُمْ) اسم كان مرفوع بالضمة المقدرة على الألف، والهاء في محل جر بالإضافة. (إِذْ) ظرف لما مضى من الزمن متعلق بدعواهم. (جاءَهُمْ بَأْسُنا) فعل ماض ومفعوله وفاعله والجملة في محل جر بالإضافة. (إِلَّا) أداة حصر. (أَنْ قالُوا) المصدر المؤول من أن والفعل في محل نصب خبر كان. (إِنَّا) إن واسمها. (كُنَّا) كان واسمها و(ظالِمِينَ) خبرها وجملة كنا ظالمين في محل رفع خبر إن.
