7:34
وَلِكُلِّأُمَّةٍأَجَلٌفَإِذَاجَآءَأَجَلُهُمْلَايَسْتَأْخِرُونَسَاعَةًوَلَايَسْتَقْدِمُونَ ٣٤

Saheeh International

And for every nation is a [specified] term. So when their time has come, they will not remain behind an hour, nor will they precede [it].

Tafseer 'Tafsir Ibn Kathir' (IN)

Firman Allah Swt.:

Bagi tiap-tiap umat.

Yakni bagi tiap-tiap kurun dan generasi.

...ada batasan waktu yang ditetapkan. Maka apabila telah datang waktunya.

Yaitu batasan waktu yang telah ditakdirkan bagi mereka.

Mereka tidak dapat mengundurkannya barang sesaat pun dan tidak dapat (pula) memajukannya.

Kemudian Allah Swt. memperingatkan kepada umat manusia bahwa Dia akan mengutus rasuI-rasuI-Nya kepada mereka yang akan membaca­kan kepada mereka ayat-ayat-Nya, membawa berita gembira dan peringatan.
