7:153
وَٱلَّذِينَعَمِلُوا۟ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِثُمَّتَابُوا۟مِنۢبَعْدِهَاوَءَامَنُوٓا۟إِنَّرَبَّكَمِنۢبَعْدِهَالَغَفُورٌرَّحِيمٌ ١٥٣

Saheeh International

But those who committed misdeeds and then repented after them and believed - indeed your Lord, thereafter, is Forgiving and Merciful.

Tafseer 'Ibn Kathir' (AR)

قوله "والذين عملوا السيئات ثم تابوا من بعدها وآمنوا إن ربك" أي يا محمد يا رسول التوبة ونبي الرحمة "من بعدها" أي من بعد تلك الفعلة "لغفور رحيم". وقال ابن أبي حاتم: حدثنا أبي حدثنا مسلم بن إبراهيم ثنا أبان ثنا قتادة عن عزرة عن الحسن العرني عن علقمة عن عبدالله بن مسعود أنه سئل عن ذلك يعني عن الرجل يزني بالمرأة ثم يتزوجها فتلا هذه الآية "والذين عملوا السيئات ثم تابوا من بعدها وآمنوا إن ربك من بعدها لغفور رحيم" فتلاها عبدالله عشر مرات فلم يأمرهم بها ولم ينههم عنها.
