وَمَاتَنقِمُمِنَّآإِلَّآأَنْءَامَنَّابِـَٔايَٰتِرَبِّنَالَمَّاجَآءَتْنَارَبَّنَآأَفْرِغْعَلَيْنَاصَبْرًاوَتَوَفَّنَامُسْلِمِينَ ١٢٦

Saheeh International

And you do not resent us except because we believed in the signs of our Lord when they came to us. Our Lord, pour upon us patience and let us die as Muslims [in submission to You]."

Tafseer 'Qurtubi Tafseer' (AR)

وما تنقم منا إلا أن آمنا بآيات ربنا قرأ الحسن بفتح القاف . قال الأخفش : هي لغة يقال : نقمت الأمر ونقمته أنكرته ، أي لست تكره منا سوى أن آمنا بالله وهو الحق .لما جاءتنا آياته وبيناته .ربنا أفرغ علينا صبرا الإفراغ الصب ، أي اصببه علينا عند القطع والصلب .وتوفنا مسلمين فقيل : إن فرعون أخذ السحرة وقطعهم على شاطئ النهر ، وإنه آمن بموسى عند إيمان السحرة ستمائة ألف .
