وَأَوْحَيْنَآإِلَىٰمُوسَىٰٓأَنْأَلْقِعَصَاكَفَإِذَاهِىَتَلْقَفُمَايَأْفِكُونَ ١١٧

Saheeh International

And We inspired to Moses, "Throw your staff," and at once it devoured what they were falsifying.

Tafseer 'Tafsir Ahsanul Bayaan' (UR)

ہم نے موسیٰ (علیہ السلام کو حکم دیا کہ اپنا عصا ڈال دیجئے! سو عصا کا ڈالنا تھا کہ اس نے ان کے سارے بنے بنائے کھیل کو نگلنا شروع کیا (١) ١١٧۔١ لیکن یہ جو کچھ بھی تھا ایک تخیل شعبدہ بازی اور جادو تھا جو حقیقت کا مقابلہ نہیں کر سکتا تھا چنانچہ موسیٰ علیہ السلام کے لاٹھی ڈالتے ہی سب کچھ ختم ہوگیا اور لاٹھی نے ایک خوفناک اژدھا کی شکل اختیار کرکے سب کچھ نگل لیا۔
