Tafseer 'Tafsir Kemenag RI' (IN)

(18) Ayat ini menerangkan bahwa sesungguhnya al-Walid memikirkan dan memahami wahyu Allah yang telah didengarnya. Akan tetapi, dia berusaha pula hendak menyusun kata-kata sendiri dengan maksud hendak mencela apa yang ada dalam Al-Qur'an. Dia mereka-reka perkataan lain yang bersifat menentang Al-Qur'an, sehingga orang Quraisy merasa senang dengannya, merasa cocok keinginan mereka dengan al-Walid.
