وَكَذَّبَبِهِۦقَوْمُكَوَهُوَٱلْحَقُّقُللَّسْتُعَلَيْكُمبِوَكِيلٍ ٦٦

Saheeh International

But your people have denied it while it is the truth. Say, "I am not over you a manager."

Tafseer 'Qurtubi Tafseer' (AR)

قوله تعالى وكذب به قومك وهو الحق قل لست عليكم بوكيلقوله تعالى وكذب به قومك أي بالقرآن . وقرأ ابن أبي عبلة " وكذبت . بالتاء .وهو الحق أي القصص الحق .قل لست عليكم بوكيل قال الحسن : لست بحافظ أعمالكم حتى أجازيكم عليها ، إنما أنا منذر وقد بلغت ; نظيره وما أنا عليكم بحفيظ أي أحفظ عليكم أعمالكم . ثم قيل : هذا منسوخ بآية القتال . وقيل : ليس بمنسوخ ، إذ لم يكن في [ ص: 13 ] وسعه إيمانهم
