قُلۡ أَرَءَيۡتَكُمۡ إِنۡ أَتَٰكُمۡ عَذَابُ ٱللَّهِ بَغۡتَةً أَوۡ جَهۡرَةً هَلۡ يُهۡلَكُ إِلَّا ٱلۡقَوۡمُ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ٤٧
Saheeh International
Say, "Have you considered: if the punishment of Allah should come to you unexpectedly or manifestly, will any be destroyed but the wrongdoing people?"
وقوله تعالى "قل أرأيتكم إن أتاكم عذاب الله بغتة" أي وأنتم لا تشعرون به حتى بغتكم وفجأكم "أو جهرة" أي ظاهرا عيانا "هل يهلك إلا القوم الظالمون" أي إنما كان يحيط بالظالمين أنفسهم بالشرك بالله وينجو الذين كانوا يعبدون الله وحده لا شريك له فلا خوف عليهم ولا هم يحزنون كقوله "الذين آمنوا ولم يلبسوا إيمانهم بظلم" الآية.
