6:118
فَكُلُوا۟مِمَّاذُكِرَٱسْمُٱللَّهِعَلَيْهِإِنكُنتُمبِـَٔايَٰتِهِۦمُؤْمِنِينَ ١١٨

Saheeh International

So eat of that [meat] upon which the name of Allah has been mentioned, if you are believers in His verses.

Tafseer 'Qurtubi Tafseer' (AR)

قوله تعالى : فكلوا مما ذكر اسم الله عليه إن كنتم بآياته مؤمنينفكلوا مما ذكر اسم الله عليه نزلت بسبب أناس أتوا النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فقالوا : يا رسول الله ، إنا نأكل ما نقتل ولا نأكل ما قتل الله ؟ فنزلت فكلوا إلى قوله : وإن أطعتموهم إنكم لمشركون خرجه الترمذي وغيره . قال عطاء : هذه الآية أمر بذكر اسم الله على الشراب والذبح وكل مطعوم .إن كنتم بآياته مؤمنين أي بأحكامه وأوامره آخذين ; فإن الإيمان بها يتضمن ويقتضي الأخذ بها والانقياد لها .
