وَلَقَدِٱسْتُهْزِئَبِرُسُلٍمِّنقَبْلِكَفَحَاقَبِٱلَّذِينَسَخِرُوا۟مِنْهُممَّاكَانُوا۟بِهِۦيَسْتَهْزِءُونَ ١٠

Saheeh International

And already were messengers ridiculed before you, but those who mocked them were enveloped by that which they used to ridicule.

Tafseer 'Tafsir Ibn Kathir' (IN)

Firman Allah Swt.:

Dan sungguh telah diperolok-olokkan beberapa rasul sebelum kamu, maka turunlah kepada orang-orang yang mencemoohkan di antara mereka balasan (azab) olok-olokan mereka.

Makna ayat ini mengandung hiburan yang ditujukan kepada Nabi Saw. dalam menghadapi reaksi kaumnya yang mendustakannya. Juga mengandung janji baginya dan bagi orang-orang yang beriman kepadanya, bahwa akan diperoleh kemenangan akibat yang baik di dunia dan akhirat.
