68:48
فَٱصْبِرْلِحُكْمِرَبِّكَوَلَاتَكُنكَصَاحِبِٱلْحُوتِإِذْنَادَىٰوَهُوَمَكْظُومٌ ٤٨

Saheeh International

Then be patient for the decision of your Lord, [O Muhammad], and be not like the companion of the fish when he called out while he was distressed.

Tafseer 'Tafsir Ahsanul Bayaan' (UR)

بس تو اپنے رب کے حکم کا صبر سے انتظار کر اور مچھلی والے کی طرح نہ ہو جا جب (١) کہ اس نے غم کی حالت میں دعا کی (١) ٤٨۔١ جنہوں نے اپنی قوم کی روش تکذیب کو دیکھتے ہوئے عجلت سے کام لیا اور رب کے فیصلے کے بغیر ہی از خود اپنی قوم کو چھوڑ کر چلے گئے۔ جس کے نتیجے میں انہیں مچھلی کے پیٹ میں، جب کہ وہ غم و اندوہ سے بھرے ہوئے تھے اپنے رب کو مدد کے لئے پکارنا پڑا۔ جیسے کہ تفصیل پہلے گزر چکی ہے،
