67:10
وَقَالُوا۟لَوْكُنَّانَسْمَعُأَوْنَعْقِلُمَاكُنَّافِىٓأَصْحَٰبِٱلسَّعِيرِ ١٠

Saheeh International

And they will say, "If only we had been listening or reasoning, we would not be among the companions of the Blaze."

Tafseer 'Tafsir Abu Bakar Zakaria' (BN)

[১] অর্থাৎ আমরা যদি সত্যানুসন্ধিৎসু হয়ে নবীদের কথা মনোযোগ দিয়ে শুনতাম অথবা নবীগণ আমাদের সামনে যা পেশ করেছেন তা আসলে কি বুদ্ধি-বিবেক খাটিয়ে তা বুঝার চেষ্টা করতাম। হাদীসে এসেছে, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম বলেছেন, “যতক্ষণ পর্যন্ত মানুষ তাদের অপরাধের ব্যাপারে নিজেদের উপর দোষ স্বীকার করবে ততক্ষণ পর্যন্ত তাদের ব্যাপারে চুড়ান্ত ফয়সালা করা হবে না।” [আবু দাউদ: ৪৩৪৭, মুসনাদে আহমাদ: ৫/২৯৩]
