يَهْدِىبِهِٱللَّهُمَنِٱتَّبَعَرِضْوَٰنَهُۥسُبُلَٱلسَّلَٰمِوَيُخْرِجُهُممِّنَٱلظُّلُمَٰتِإِلَىٱلنُّورِبِإِذْنِهِۦوَيَهْدِيهِمْإِلَىٰصِرَٰطٍمُّسْتَقِيمٍ ١٦

Saheeh International

By which Allah guides those who pursue His pleasure to the ways of peace and brings them out from darknesses into the light, by His permission, and guides them to a straight path.

Tafseer 'Baghawy Tafseer' (AR)

( يهدي به الله من اتبع رضوانه ) رضاه ، ( سبل السلام ) قيل : السلام هو الله عز وجل ، وسبيله دينه الذي شرع لعباده ، وبعث به رسله ، وقيل : السلام هو السلامة ، كاللذاذ واللذاذة بمعنى واحد ، والمراد به طرق السلامة ، ( ويخرجهم من الظلمات إلى النور ) أي : من ظلمات الكفر إلى نور الإيمان ، ( بإذنه ) بتوفيقه وهدايته ، ( ويهديهم إلى صراط مستقيم ) وهو الإسلام .
