ٱعْلَمُوٓا۟أَنَّٱللَّهَيُحْىِٱلْأَرْضَبَعْدَمَوْتِهَاقَدْبَيَّنَّالَكُمُٱلْءَايَٰتِلَعَلَّكُمْتَعْقِلُونَ ١٧

Saheeh International

Know that Allah gives life to the earth after its lifelessness. We have made clear to you the signs; perhaps you will understand.

Tafseer 'Ibn Kathir' (AR)

فيه إشارة إلى أن الله تعالى يلين القلوب بعد قسوتها ويهدي الحيارى بعد ضلتها ويفرج الكروب بعد شدتها فكما يحيي الأرض الميته المجدبة الهامدة بالغيث الهتان الوابل كذلك يهدي القلوب القاسية ببراهين القرآن والدلائل ويولج إليها النور بعد أن كانت مقفلة لا يصل إليها الواصل فسبحان الهادي لمن يشاء بعد الضلال والمضل لمن أراد بعد الكمال الذي هو لما يشاء فعال وهو الحكيم العدل في جميع الفعال اللطيف الخبير الكبير المتعال.
