Tafseer 'Tafsir Kemenag RI' (IN)

(13-14) Ayat-ayat ini menerangkan bahwa prosentase umat dahulu yang termasuk "as-Sabiqun al-Muqarrabun" lebih besar dibanding dengan prosentase umat Nabi Muhammad. Namun karena jumlah umat Nabi Muhammad itu jauh lebih besar dari jumlah umat nabi-nabi sebelumnya, maka jumlah umat Nabi Muhammad yang termasuk "as-Sabiqun al-Muqarrabun" jauh lebih besar dibanding dengan jumlah umat-umat dahulu.
