54:48
يَوْمَيُسْحَبُونَفِىٱلنَّارِعَلَىٰوُجُوهِهِمْذُوقُوا۟مَسَّسَقَرَ ٤٨

Saheeh International

The Day they are dragged into the Fire on their faces [it will be said], "Taste the touch of Saqar."

Tafseer 'Waseet Tafseer' (AR)

ويقال لهم ( يَوْمَ يُسْحَبُونَ فِي النار على وُجُوهِهِمْ ) أى : يوم يُجَرُّون فى النار على وجوههم ، على سبيل الإهانة والإذلال .( ذُوقُواْ مَسَّ سَقَرَ ) أى : ويقال لهم : ذوقوا مس جهنم التى كنتم تكذبون بها ، وقاسوا آلامها وعذابها .فقوله - تعالى - : ( سَقَرَ ) علم على جهنم ، مأخوذ من سقرت الشمس الشىء وصقرته ، إذا غيرت معالمه وأذابته ، وهو ممنوع من الصرف للعلمية والتأنيث .
