53:25
فَلِلَّهِٱلْءَاخِرَةُوَٱلْأُولَىٰ ٢٥

Saheeh International

Rather, to Allah belongs the Hereafter and the first [life].

en: Ibn Kathir

Tafseer 'Ibn Kathir' (EN)

But to Allah belongs the last and the first.

meaning, all matters belong to Allah and He is the King and Owner of this world and the Hereafter, Who does what He will in both lives. Whatever He wills, occurs and whatever He does not will, never occurs.

No Interecession except with Allah's Leave

Allah said,

وَكَم مِّن مَّلَكٍ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ لَا تُغْنِي شَفَاعَتُهُمْ شَيْيًا

إِلاَّ مِن بَعْدِ أَن يَأْذَنَ اللَّهُ لِمَن يَشَاء وَيَرْضَى
