52:47
وَإِنَّلِلَّذِينَظَلَمُوا۟عَذَابًادُونَذَٰلِكَوَلَٰكِنَّأَكْثَرَهُمْلَايَعْلَمُونَ ٤٧

Saheeh International

And indeed, for those who have wronged is a punishment before that, but most of them do not know.

Tafseer 'Qurtubi Tafseer' (AR)

قوله تعالى : وإن للذين ظلموا - أي : كفروا - عذابا دون ذلك قيل : قبل موتهم . ابن زيد : مصائب الدنيا من الأوجاع والأسقام والبلايا وذهاب الأموال والأولاد . مجاهد : هو الجوع والجهد سبع سنين . ابن عباس : هو القتل . عنه : عذاب القبر . وقاله البراء بن عازب وعلي رضي الله عنهم . ف " دون " بمعنى " غير " . وقيل : عذابا أخف من عذاب الآخرة . ولكن أكثرهم لا يعلمون أن العذاب نازل بهم وقيل : ولكن أكثرهم لا يعلمون ما يصيرون إليه .
