Saheeh International

They will say, "Indeed, we were previously among our people fearful [of displeasing Allah ].

Tafseer 'Tafsir Ibn Kathir' (IN)

Firman Allah Swt.:

Mereka berkata, "Sesungguhnya kami dahulu, sewaktu berada di tengah-tengah keluarga kami merasa takut (akan diazab)." (Ath-Thur: 26)

Yakni kami dahulu di dunia ketika hidup di tengah-tengah keluarga kami selalu dicekam oleh rasa takut kepada Tuhan kami, takut terhadap siksa dan azab-Nya.
