50:38
وَلَقَدْخَلَقْنَاٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضَوَمَابَيْنَهُمَافِىسِتَّةِأَيَّامٍوَمَامَسَّنَامِنلُّغُوبٍ ٣٨

Saheeh International

And We did certainly create the heavens and earth and what is between them in six days, and there touched Us no weariness.

Tafseer 'Qurtubi Tafseer' (AR)

قوله تعالى : ولقد خلقنا السماوات والأرض وما بينهما في ستة أيام وما مسنا من لغوب تقدم في الأعراف وغيرها ، واللغوب التعب والإعياء ، تقول منه : لغب يلغب بالضم لغوبا ، ولغب بالكسر يلغب لغوبا لغة ضعيفة فيه . وألغبته أنا أي أنصبته . قال قتادة والكلبي : هذه الآية نزلت في يهود المدينة زعموا أن الله تعالى خلق السماوات والأرض في ستة أيام ، أولها يوم الأحد وآخرها يوم الجمعة ، واستراح يوم السبت ; فجعلوه راحة ، فأكذبهم الله تعالى في ذلك .
