قَالَلَاتَخْتَصِمُوا۟لَدَىَّوَقَدْقَدَّمْتُإِلَيْكُمبِٱلْوَعِيدِ ٢٨

Saheeh International

[ Allah ] will say, "Do not dispute before Me, while I had already presented to you the warning.

Tafseer 'Ibn Kathir' (AR)

وقوله تبارك وتعالى "قال لا تختصموا لدي" يقول الرب عز وجل للإنسي وقرينه من الجن وذلك أنهما يختصمان بين يدي الحق تعالى فيقول الإنسي يا رب هذا أضلني عن الذكر بعد إذ جاءني ويقول الشيطان "ربنا ما أطغيته ولكن كان في ضلال بعيد" أي عن منهج الحق فيقول الرب عز وجل لهما "لا تختصموا لدي" أي عندي " وقد قدمت إليكم بالوعيد " أي قد أعذرت إليكم على ألسنة الرسل وأنزلت الكتب وقامت عليكم الحجج والبينات والبراهين.
