When the two receivers receive, seated on the right and on the left.

Tafseer 'Tafsir Ibn Kathir' (IN)

Firman Allah Swt.:

(yaitu) ketika dua malaikat mencatat amal perbuatannya (Qaf: 17)

Yakni dua malaikat yang ditugaskan oleh Allah Swt. untuk mencatat amal perbuatan manusia.

yang satu duduk di sebelah kanan dan yang lain duduk di sebelah kiri. (Qaf: 17)

Artinya, keduanya selalu mengawasi.
