أَلَمْتَرَإِلَىٱلَّذِينَيُزَكُّونَأَنفُسَهُمبَلِٱللَّهُيُزَكِّىمَنيَشَآءُوَلَايُظْلَمُونَفَتِيلًا ٤٩

Saheeh International

Have you not seen those who claim themselves to be pure? Rather, Allah purifies whom He wills, and injustice is not done to them, [even] as much as a thread [inside a date seed].

Tafseer 'Tafsir Ahsanul Bayaan' (BN)

[১] ইয়াহুদীরা নিজ মুখেই নিজেদের বড়াই ও প্রশংসা করত। যেমন তারা বলত, আমরা আল্লাহর পুত্র এবং তাঁর প্রিয়পাত্র ইত্যাদি। আল্লাহ বললেন, কাউকে প্রশংসাভাজন ও পবিত্র করণের কাজও আল্লাহর এবং কে পবিত্র তা তিনিই জানেন।فَتِيْل খেজুরের আঁটির ফাটলে অতি সূক্ষ্ণ ও পাতলা সুতোর মত যে অংশ থাকে সেটাকেই 'ফাতীল' বলা হয়। অর্থাৎ, এইটুকু সামান্য পরিমাণ যুলুমও করা হবে না।
