وَبِكُفْرِهِمْوَقَوْلِهِمْعَلَىٰمَرْيَمَبُهْتَٰنًاعَظِيمًا ١٥٦

Saheeh International

And [We cursed them] for their disbelief and their saying against Mary a great slander,

Tafseer 'Qurtubi Tafseer' (AR)

ثم كرر وبكفرهم ليخبر أنهم كفروا كفرا بعد كفر . وقيل : المعنى [ ص: 372 ] وبكفرهم بالمسيح ؛ فحذف لدلالة ما بعده عليه ، والعامل في " بكفرهم " هو العامل في " بنقضهم " لأنه معطوف عليه ، ولا يجوز أن يكون العامل فيه طبع . والبهتان العظيم : رميها بيوسف النجار وكان من الصالحين منهم . والبهتان الكذب المفرط الذي يتعجب منه وقد تقدم . والله سبحانه وتعالى أعلم .
