يَمُنُّونَعَلَيْكَأَنْأَسْلَمُوا۟قُللَّاتَمُنُّوا۟عَلَىَّإِسْلَٰمَكُمبَلِٱللَّهُيَمُنُّعَلَيْكُمْأَنْهَدَىٰكُمْلِلْإِيمَٰنِإِنكُنتُمْصَٰدِقِينَ ١٧

Saheeh International

They consider it a favor to you that they have accepted Islam. Say, "Do not consider your Islam a favor to me. Rather, Allah has conferred favor upon you that He has guided you to the faith, if you should be truthful."

Tafseer 'Qurtubi Tafseer' (AR)

قوله تعالى : يمنون عليك أن أسلموا إشارة إلى قولهم : جئناك بالأثقال والعيال . و ( أن ) في موضع نصب على تقدير لأن أسلموا . قل لا تمنوا علي إسلامكم أي بإسلامكم . بل الله يمن عليكم أن هداكم للإيمان ( أن ) موضع نصب ، تقديره بأن . وقيل : لأن . وفي مصحف عبد الله ( إذ هداكم ) إن كنتم صادقين صادقين أنكم مؤمنون . وقرأ عاصم ( إن هداكم ) بالكسر ، وفيه بعد ، لقوله : إن كنتم صادقين ولا يقال يمن عليكم أن يهديكم إن صدقتم . والقراءة الظاهرة أن هداكم وهذا لا يدل على أنهم كانوا مؤمنين ; لأن تقدير الكلام : إن آمنتم فذلك منة الله عليكم .
