طَاعَةٌوَقَوْلٌمَّعْرُوفٌفَإِذَاعَزَمَٱلْأَمْرُفَلَوْصَدَقُوا۟ٱللَّهَلَكَانَخَيْرًالَّهُمْ ٢١

Saheeh International

Obedience and good words. And when the matter [of fighting] was determined, if they had been true to Allah, it would have been better for them.

Tafseer 'Tafsir Ahsanul Bayaan' (UR)

فرمان کا بجا لانا اور اچھی بات کا کہنا پھر جب کام مقرر ہو جائے (١) تو اگر اللہ کے ساتھ سچے رہیں (٢) تو ان کے لئے بہتری ہے (٣)۔ ٢١۔١ یعنی جہاد کی تیاری مکمل ہو جائے اور وقت جہاد آ جائے۔ ٢١۔٢ یعنی اگر اب بھی نفاق چھوڑ کر، اپنی نیت اللہ کے لئے خالص کرلیں، یا رسول کے سامنے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ لڑنے کا عہد کرتے ہیں، اس میں اللہ سے سچے رہیں۔ ٢١۔٣ یعنی نفاق اور مخالفت کے مقابلے میں توبہ و اخلاص کا مظاہرہ بہتر ہے۔
