47:16
وَمِنْهُممَّنيَسْتَمِعُإِلَيْكَحَتَّىٰٓإِذَاخَرَجُوا۟مِنْعِندِكَقَالُوا۟لِلَّذِينَأُوتُوا۟ٱلْعِلْمَمَاذَاقَالَءَانِفًاأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَٱلَّذِينَطَبَعَٱللَّهُعَلَىٰقُلُوبِهِمْوَٱتَّبَعُوٓا۟أَهْوَآءَهُمْ ١٦

Saheeh International

And among them, [O Muhammad], are those who listen to you, until when they depart from you, they say to those who were given knowledge, "What has he said just now?" Those are the ones of whom Allah has sealed over their hearts and who have followed their [own] desires.

Tafseer 'Ibn Kathir' (AR)

يقول تعالى مخبرا عن المنافقين في بلادتهم وقلة فهمهم حيث كانوا يجلسون إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ويستمعون كلامه فلا يفهمون منه شيئا فإذا خرجوا من عنده "قالوا للذين أوتوا العلم من الصحابة" رضي الله عنهم "ماذا قال آنفا" أي الساعة لا يعقلون ما قال ولا يكترثون له قال الله تعالى "أولئك الذين طبع الله على قلوبهم واتبعوا أهواءهم" أي فلا فهم صحيح ولا قصد صحيح.
