45:31
وَأَمَّاٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوٓا۟أَفَلَمْتَكُنْءَايَٰتِىتُتْلَىٰعَلَيْكُمْفَٱسْتَكْبَرْتُمْوَكُنتُمْقَوْمًامُّجْرِمِينَ ٣١

Saheeh International

But as for those who disbelieved, [it will be said], "Were not Our verses recited to you, but you were arrogant and became a people of criminals?

Tafseer 'Tafsir Ahsanul Bayaan' (UR)

لیکن جن لوگوں نے کفر کیا تو (میں ان سے کہوں گا) کیا میری آیتیں تمہیں سنائی نہیں جاتی تھیں (١) پھر بھی تم تکبر کرتے رہے اور تم تھے ہی گناہ گار لوگ (٢) ٣١۔١ یہ بطور توبیخ کے ان سے کہا جائے گا، کیونکہ رسول ان کے پاس آئے تھے، انہوں نے اللہ کے احکام انہیں سنائے تھے، لیکن انہوں نے پروا ہی نہیں کی تھی۔ ٣١۔٢ یعنی حق کے قبول کرنے سے تم نے تکبر کیا اور ایمان نہیں لائے، بلکہ تم تھے ہی گناہ گار۔
