45:16
وَلَقَدْءَاتَيْنَابَنِىٓإِسْرَٰٓءِيلَٱلْكِتَٰبَوَٱلْحُكْمَوَٱلنُّبُوَّةَوَرَزَقْنَٰهُممِّنَٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِوَفَضَّلْنَٰهُمْعَلَىٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ ١٦

Saheeh International

And We did certainly give the Children of Israel the Scripture and judgement and prophethood, and We provided them with good things and preferred them over the worlds.

Tafseer 'Qurtubi Tafseer' (AR)

قوله تعالى : ولقد آتينا بني إسرائيل الكتاب يعني التوراة . والحكم والنبوة ؛ الحكم : الفهم في الكتاب . وقيل : الحكم على الناس والقضاء . والنبوة يعني الأنبياء من وقت يوسف - عليه السلام - إلى زمن عيسى عليه السلام . ورزقناهم من الطيبات أي الحلال من الأقوات والثمار والأطعمة التي كانت بالشام . وقيل : يعني المن والسلوى في التيه . وفضلناهم على العالمين أي على عالمي زمانهم . على ما تقدم في ( الدخان ) بيانه .
