وَلَقَدِٱخْتَرْنَٰهُمْعَلَىٰعِلْمٍعَلَىٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ ٣٢

Saheeh International

And We certainly chose them by knowledge over [all] the worlds.

Tafseer 'Tafsir Ahsanul Bayaan' (UR)

ہم نے دانستہ طور پر بنی اسرائیل کو دنیا جہان والوں پر فوقیت دی (١)۔ ٣٢۔١ اس جہان سے مراد بنی اسرائیل کے زمانے کا جہان ہے کل جہان نہیں ہے، کیونکہ قرآن میں امت محمدیہ کو کُنْتُمْ خَیْرَ اُمَّۃٍ کے لقب سے ملقب کیا گیا ہے یعنی بنی اسرائیل اپنے زمانے میں دنیا جہان والوں پر فضیلت رکھتے تھے ان کی یہ فضیلت اس استحقاق کی وجہ سے تھی جس کا علم اللہ کو ہے۔
