Are they waiting except for the Hour to come upon them suddenly while they perceive not?

Tafseer 'Qasim Hamidan Da's' (AR)

(هَلْ) حرف استفهام (يَنْظُرُونَ) مضارع مرفوع والواو فاعله والجملة مستأنفة لا محل لها (إِلَّا) حرف حصر (السَّاعَةَ) مفعول به (أَنْ تَأْتِيَهُمْ) مضارع منصوب بأن والهاء مفعوله والفاعل مستتر والمصدر المؤول من أن والفعل بدل من الساعة (بَغْتَةً) حال (وَهُمْ) الواو حالية ومبتدأ (لا) نافية (يَشْعُرُونَ) مضارع مرفوع والواو فاعله والجملة خبر المبتدأ والجملة الاسمية حالية.
