43:24
قَٰلَأَوَلَوْجِئْتُكُمبِأَهْدَىٰمِمَّاوَجَدتُّمْعَلَيْهِءَابَآءَكُمْقَالُوٓا۟إِنَّابِمَآأُرْسِلْتُمبِهِۦكَٰفِرُونَ ٢٤

Saheeh International

[Each warner] said, "Even if I brought you better guidance than that [religion] upon which you found your fathers?" They said, "Indeed we, in that with which you were sent, are disbelievers."

Tafseer 'Baghawy Tafseer' (AR)

( قل ) قرأ ابن عامر وحفص : " قال " على الخبر ، وقرأ الآخرون " قل " على الأمر ، ( أولو جئتكم ) قرأ أبو جعفر : " جئناكم " على الجمع ، والآخرون " جئتكم " على الواحد ، ( بأهدى ) بدين أصوب ( مما وجدتم عليه آباءكم ) قال الزجاج : قل لهم [ يا محمد ] : أتتبعون ما وجدتم عليه آباءكم وإن جئتكم بأهدى منه ؟ فأبوا أن يقبلوا و ( قالوا إنا بما أرسلتم به كافرون ) .
