42:9
أَمِٱتَّخَذُوا۟مِندُونِهِۦٓأَوْلِيَآءَفَٱللَّهُهُوَٱلْوَلِىُّوَهُوَيُحْىِٱلْمَوْتَىٰوَهُوَعَلَىٰكُلِّشَىْءٍقَدِيرٌ ٩
Saheeh International
Or have they taken protectors [or allies] besides him? But Allah - He is the Protector, and He gives life to the dead, and He is over all things competent.

Tafseer 'Tafsir Ibn Kathir' (IN)
Allah Swt. berfirman, mengingkari sikap orang-orang musyrik karena mereka telah menjadikan tuhan-tuhan lain selain Allah, dan Allah Swt. memberitahukan bahwa hanya Dialah Pelindung yang sebenarnya, yang tidak layak penyembahan dilakukan kecuali hanya kepada-Nya semata. Karena sesungguhnya Dia adalah Mahakuasa untuk menghidupkan orang-orang yang telah mati, dan Dia Mahakuasa atas segala sesuatu.
