42:17
ٱللَّهُٱلَّذِىٓأَنزَلَٱلْكِتَٰبَبِٱلْحَقِّوَٱلْمِيزَانَوَمَايُدْرِيكَلَعَلَّٱلسَّاعَةَقَرِيبٌ ١٧

Saheeh International

It is Allah who has sent down the Book in truth and [also] the balance. And what will make you perceive? Perhaps the Hour is near.

Tafseer 'Ibn Kathir' (AR)

يعني الكتب المنزلة من عنده على أنبيائه "والميزان" وهو العدل والإنصاف قاله مجاهد وقتادة وهذه كقوله تعالى "لقد أرسلنا رسلنا بالبينات وأنزلنا معهم الكتاب والميزان ليقوم الناس بالقسط" وقوله "والسماء رفعها ووضع الميزان ألا تطغوا في الميزان وأقيموا الوزن بالقسط ولا تخسروا الميزان". وقوله تبارك وتعالى "وما يدريك لعل الساعة قريب" فيه ترغيب فيها وترهيب منها وتزهيد في الدنيا.
