بَشِيرًاوَنَذِيرًافَأَعْرَضَأَكْثَرُهُمْفَهُمْلَايَسْمَعُونَ ٤

Saheeh International

As a giver of good tidings and a warner; but most of them turn away, so they do not hear.

Tafseer 'Tafsir Ahsanul Bayaan' (UR)

خوشخبری سنانے والا اور ڈرانے والا (١) ہے پھر بھی ان کی اکثریت نے منہ پھیر لیا اور وہ سنتے ہی نہیں (٢)۔ ٤۔١ ایمان اور اعمال صالح کے حاملین کو کامیابی اور جنت کی خوشخبری سنانے والا اور مشرکین و مکذبین کو عذاب نار سے ڈرانے والا۔٤۔٢ یعنی غور و فکر اور تدبر و تعقل کی نیت سے نہیں سنتے کہ جس سے انہیں فائدہ ہو۔ اسی لئے ان کی اکثریت ہدایت سے محروم ہے۔
