40:6
وَكَذَٰلِكَحَقَّتْكَلِمَتُرَبِّكَعَلَىٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوٓا۟أَنَّهُمْأَصْحَٰبُٱلنَّارِ ٦
Saheeh International
And thus has the word of your Lord come into effect upon those who disbelieved that they are companions of the Fire.

Tafseer 'Tafsir Kemenag RI' (IN)
(6) Ayat ini menunjukkan bagaimana umat-umat dahulu telah diazab dan dibinasakan karena perlakuan mereka yang tidak wajar kepada para nabi dan rasul mereka. Dengan demikian, hal itu berlaku pula bagi umat Nabi Muhammad yang tetap membangkang, mengingkari, dan mendustakan ayat-ayat Allah. Di akhirat, mereka akan dimasukkan ke dalam neraka. Firman Allah: Adapun orang-orang yang kafir dan mendustakan ayat-ayat Kami, mereka itu penghuni neraka. Mereka kekal di dalamnya. (al-Baqarah/2: 39)
