وَلَقَدْءَاتَيْنَامُوسَىٱلْهُدَىٰوَأَوْرَثْنَابَنِىٓإِسْرَٰٓءِيلَٱلْكِتَٰبَ ٥٣

Saheeh International

And We had certainly given Moses guidance, and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit the Scripture

Tafseer 'Tafsir Ahsanul Bayaan' (UR)

ہم نے موسیٰ (علیہ السلام) کو ہدایت نامہ عطا فرمایا (۱) اور بنو اسرائیل کو اس کتاب کا وارث بنایا (١) ٥٣۔١ یعنی نبوت اور تورات عطا کی جیسے فرمایا (اِنَّآ اَنْزَلْنَا التَّوْرٰىةَ فِيْهَا هُدًى وَّنُوْرٌ) 5۔ المائدہ:44) ٥٣۔١ یعنی تورات، حضرت موسیٰ علیہ السلام کے بعد بھی باقی رہی، جس کے نسلاً بعد نسل وہ وارث ہوتے رہے۔ یا کتاب سے مراد وہ تمام کتابیں ہیں جو انبیائے بنی اسرائیل پر نازل ہوئیں، ان سب کتابوں کا وارث بنی اسرائیل کو بنایا۔
